NJEDA is an independent state financing and development agency who arranges access to capital for small and middle-size businesses and offers training and technical support. NJ Business Assistance Programs

As a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and a US Small Business Administration (SBA) lender, we’re committed to helping start-up and existing small businesses throughout our expanded service area of New Jersey, New York City, Westchester County (NY), Philadelphia, and Bucks County (PA).

From the Small Business Association, a detailed site containing all the loan programs run by the SBA, including microloans and the 7(A) Loan Guaranty Program. The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program is a highly competitive program that encourages domestic small businesses to engage in Federal Research/Research and Development (R/R&D) that has the potential for commercialization. The Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) is another program that expands funding opportunities in the federal innovation research and development (R&D) arena.

UCEDC is a private non-profit Community Development Financial Institution that fosters economic growth. They provide financial and technical assistance to new and existing businesses with emphasis on benefiting under-served people and communities.
