On March 21, 2017 the Legacy Project welcomes Ronaldo Linares: local chef, Food Network contestant on "Chopped" and cookbook author.
Chef Ronaldo Linares speaks and Latin Jazz band Cubano Be Cubano Bop performs at the County College of Morris, March 21, 2017.
Ronaldo Linares is a Cuban/Columbian/American, salsa-dancing, Cross Fit-certified former U.S. Marine. He is a classically trained chef and restauranteur living his dream as the Executive Chef of Martino's Cuban Restaurant in Somerville, NJ. Born in Colombia during the turbulent cartel wars of the 1980s, cooking has been the main ingredient in Ronaldo's journal from young immigrant and rebellious teen to husband, father, and successful chef and media personality. When he's not in the kitchen, Ronaldo is active in the community. He speaks at schools, youth groups, and corporations about his journey and the importance of healthy living.
