Get background information on your topic from an online reference book.
Go to www.ccm.edu/library and click on ARTICLES & DATABASES
Scroll down and click on Literary Sources
Enter your Username (lastname.firstname) and your Password (ccm plus 7 digit student ID)
Click on Advanced Search
In the third box, "Person by or about”, type in your author (Ezra Jack Keats) and click on SEARCH
From the results list, click on the link to "Biographies"
Click on the title of a reference book article and print or save the entry.

Go to www.ccm.edu/library
Click on Books (and Ebooks, Streaming Videos and Audiobooks.)
Click on All Formats
In the search box, type in the word "juvenile" and another keyword, such as Newbery, Caldecott, Families etc. Click Search.
Select PRINT BOOKS on the left column of the results page.
Also select Audience JUVENILE.
For more information, click on the title of the Book. Then click on "View Description".

Go to www.ccm.edu/library and click on ARTICLES & DATABASES
Click on NOVELIST K-8
Enter your CCM username and password when prompted
Type in the title of your book and click Search
Click on the title of the book, and scroll down for reading level information.
Click on the tab for Reviews and More About This Book.
Scroll to the bottom, and review "Search for More", to find similar Subjects, Genre or Tone.
