Finding Fiction : Find a Book in a Public Library

Note:  The following information is for members of public libraries in Morris County.  For help with searching a different county's union catalog, please speak with your local librarian.

Go to http://catalog.mainlib.org  . 

Type in the title of the book, and then select "Book" in the drop-down "Format" menu.

On the results page, on the left side column, narrow the search by selecting "Available Now" .  You may also select your hometown's library.

Click on the title of the book and note the location and call number.

If a copy is not available at your local public library, click on the "Place Request" button on the right side.

Logon with your Public Library username (or barcode) and your Personal Identification Number. 

Select the library that would like the item delivered to and click on "Submit".
